The 27-year-old has been unable to dislodge club captain and star striker Mauro Icardi from Inter's starting team, with the Argentina international scoring 14 league goals and adding six assists in 19 appearances.

Inter have struggled so far this season, with the club currently seventh in the league, but Jovetic looks set to transfer to a more successful side in the near future.

Marcareport Jovetic is close to signing for Sevilla, who are currently second behind Real Madrid in the league.Jorge Sampaoli's side have won the Europa League three seasons in a row and are hoping to improve their squad with the signing of Jovetic.

The deal will initially be a loan, although there will be an optional purchase clause in the contract. Inter paid Manchester City €14.5m for Jovetic, and are set to make a loss on the striker should the loan move be successful and Sevilla wish to sign the former Fiorentina forward.

The optional fee is apparently €14m, and would see Jovetic end a troubled spell at the club. He has made just five substitute appearances in the league totalling 69 minutes, and hasn't scored a goal this season.
