Chelsea have received a major blow as midfielder N'Golo Kante could be set to miss all of the clubs six fixtures in October due to a hamstring injury which he suffered while on duty for the France national team.

Kante was forced to leave the field after 34 minutes while playing for his country against Bulgaria on Saturday.

Medics have confirmed that he will be out for two to three weeks and this means that he will definitely miss Saturday's game against Crystal Palace, and he faces a fight to be available for the Blues away Champions League game against Roma on October 31.

Kante's injury is believes to be worse than that of his team-mate Alvaro Morata, who is facing a race against time to be fit for the clubs game against Roma in the Champions League next Wednesday.

Antonio Conte's team are currently on top of Champions League group C above Roma after recording victories against Qarabag and Atletico Madrid.
