Ghanaian duo Solomon Asante and Daniel Nii Adjei were unable to annex the CAF Super Cup after their TP Mazembe side were stunned 1-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night.
A late second-half goal by Brazilian defender Ricardo Nascimento dashed the hopes of the GHanaians who lasted the entire duration of the clash for the Congolese side.]
The goal came from the penalty spot after Kekana was adjudged to have been tackled from behind by Mazembe defender Issama Mpeko.
Nascimento stepped-up from defence to convert the spot kick and hand Sundowns their first Super Cup title.
