Asante Kotoko have dismissed media reports that the club has omitted Burkinabe attacker Songne Yacouba from their final squad for the CAF Champions League.
According to the Public Relations Officer for the club Kennedy Boakye Ansah, the report is nothing but false and a calculated attempt to deceive the fans of the club.
He also urged the fans to treat the story with the contempt it deserved.
“Let us put on record that the said story is wrong, it’s a calculated to deceive our fans. Management is urging every Kotoko fans out there, to treat it with the contempt it deserved”
“Yacouba is part of the team for Africa. He is our player. He is in the team” He told Kotoko Express App.
Kennedy ended by assuring the fans the Africa squad would soon be made public for the fans to see all those who have been registered.
