The former Barcelona forward respected the recommendations given by PSG which were to come back to Paris before June 15 to avoid a potential quarantine. The players will return to training on June 22.

PSG were declared Ligue 1 champions in April after the Professional Football League (LFP) announced the 2019-20 Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons had ended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sources have told ESPN that Neymar has worked hard during the break and followed all the work instructions given by PSG coach Thomas Tuchel and his staff. The German manager is said to be happy with Neymar's fitness work.

Neymar will now have a week to wait until he can finally play football again with his teammates.
