South Africa coach Hugo Broos set to field strong team for Ghana clash

The head coach of the South Africa national team, Hugo Broos will later today field a stronger team to face Ghana, sources have told footballghana.com.

Nicknamed the Bafana Bafana, the team last Friday opened its campaign in the Africa qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

Despite playing against a depleted Zimbabwe team that was missing the services of seven players, South Africa only managed to earn a point after drawing goalless with the side.

Ahead of a tough game against Ghana today, the Bafana Bafana must fight to win to remain in the running for qualification to the next stage of the qualifiers.

As a result, sources are reporting that South Africa head coach Hugo Broos will be making changes to the team that faced Zimbabwe.

According to reports, there could be at least three changes to the starting eleven that will face the Black Stars.

Information gathered indicates that Sipho Mbule could be paired with Teboho Mokoena in the midfield of the Bafana Bafana.

In addition, attacker Bongokuhle Hlongwane is likely to be unleashed against Ghana as well as defender Sibusiso Mabiliso.

Today’s game against South Africa and Ghana will be played at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Kick-off is at 16:00GMT.
