South African outfit Cape Town Spurs have parted ways with former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak coach, Ernst Middendorp following relegation from the top-flight.

The German tactician, who joined the South Africa outfit in 2023 has been shown the exit door by mutual consent after leading the Urban Warriors to relegation.

Cape Town Spurs endured a challenging 2023/24 season, finishing bottom on the Premiership table at the end of the campaign.

The Urban Warriors finished 16th on the standings, accumulating just 23 points at the end of the season. They recorded six wins, five draws and 19 defeats in campaign.

Middendorp will be disappointed following the setback in his coaching career.
