South African referee Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela to officiate Black Queens WAFCON qualifier against Rwanda

Ghana's match versus Rwanda in the 2024 Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifications would be officiated by South African referee Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

She will have assistance from her fellow compatriots Maneo Evodia Tau Assistant 1 and Roda Artimisa Mondlane Assistant 2 from Mozambique, with Tania Marisa Marisa Duarte from Angola serving as the fourth official.

Additionally serving as match commissioner will be Kenyan Tabitha Wambui Njoroge.

The game against Rwanda is set to take place at the Kigali Pelé Stadium in Nyamirambo, Kigali, and will be Nora Hauptle's first-ever effort at a WAFCON Qualifier as the head coach of Black Queens.

Black Queens head coach, Nora Häuptle has named 23 players for the 2024 Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Rwanda.

Winger Alice Kusi returns to the squad after an injury layoff while midfielder Grace Acheampong also gets a call up a long absence.

Invited players are scheduled to begin official camping and training in Kigali ahead of the first-leg encounter.

The Black Queens will depart Ghana on September 17 and take on the “She Amavubi’s” side on Wednesday, September 20 at the Kigali Pelè stadium in Kigali.
