Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is plotting a swoop for Jan Bednarek from Lech Poznan, according to reports from the Daily Echo.
Pellegrino was recently appointed as the new manager of Southampton, replacing Frenchman Claude Puel.
With the future of star man Virgil van Djik uncertain, Pellegrino seems to be looking to sign a new defender.
And the Saints are understood to be plotting a move for the Lech Poznan as a potential replacement
Bednarek could be available for as little as £5m.
