According to reports from the UK, Premier League side Southampton are interested in the services of Celtic right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
The 19-year-old broke into the Scottish side's first team last season after leaving Manchester City.
He has made over 40 appearances since and has three years left on his current deal. Reports have stated that the club have been speaking to him about an extension but a deal has not been struck.
Celtic reportedly have the belief that Southampton wants to sign the player and also believe that a number of English Championship clubs are interested in him.
Frimpong was named the team's best young player last season.
