With Luis Muriel looking likely to move to Fiorentina, AC Milan have drawn up a shortlist of potential strikers to target in January.

Despite having agreed terms with Sevilla, and the player, the Rossoneri will miss out on Muriel after he gave his word to joining Fiorentina and is likely to complete that move in the coming week.

As a result, Milan have a list of replacements with ex-Fiorentina target Manolo Gabbiadini heading the shortlist, according to La Gazzetta della Sport.

Rossoneri coach Gennaro Gattuso an admirer of the striker’s ability to play behind a main frontman, as well as on the wings.

Southampton value Gabbiadini at €15 million, though Milan are hopeful of securing a deal closer to €12m.

Should a deal not go through, Milan also have Marko Pjaca, Adem Ljajic on their radar, and have floated the idea of bringing Kevin Prince Boateng back the San Siro.
