Asensio was signed by the Galacticos in 2014 for just £3m, and has started getting a lot more game time this season under Zinedine Zidane.

The former Mallorca star has been making a name for himself as a player with a strong left-foot and pace to burn, and his development can only be aided playing with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

AS said on the player: From here he will not move.

The Star claimed Madridwere likely to want in the region of £40m for the youngster, but AS' report on Tuesday insisted that Asensio would be going nowhere.

Real Madrid currently lead the way in La Liga ahead of Barcelona by one point, but los Blancos have two games in hand on their rivals.
