Spanish side RCD Mallorca closing in on signing of Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed on loan

Spanish lower side, Real Mallorca are closing in on signing Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed, Footballghana.com report.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anderlecht after he was told he will not form part of the team ahead of the new campaign.

A move to Mallorca fell through last summer, however, The Vermilions are on verge of acquiring his services in the on-going winter transfer window.

According to Spanish Television Station IB3 via Walfoot, the 22-year-old loan move to RCD Mallorca is a done deal and they will have the option to make the deal permanent if he lives up to expectations at the end of the season.

Dauda has struggled to make an impact at Anderlecht since arriving from Asante Kotoko in 2017.

He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Vitesse and  Esbjerg fb.

The highly-rated forward's contract will expire in June 2021.

He is yet to make an appearances for the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, having already featured for the Black Satellites (U-20) and Black Meteors (U-23)
