Former Ghana U-23 star, Yaw Yeboah has revealed that spending time with Manchester City as a teenager helped him to learn a lot and also strengthened him.

The Ghanaian youngster moved to the English Premier League gianst club in 2014 after impressing scouts of a local academy in his home country that had the connections with the Sky Blue outfit.

Recounting his time with Manchester City, Yaw Yeboah has opened up on how stars such as David Silva and Kun Aguero helped him.

“To be honest, it was crazy for me!. I was playing at the Academy in Ghana that works with Manchester City. Scouts came from there, and they really caught my eye. And that's how it all started”, Yaw Yeboah noted in an interview.

He continued, “At first, however, it was not easy at all. I had to get used to the new country, the weather. I had to learn the language well. Initially, it was like I was training in Manchester for a few months and then I was going back to Ghana to get my visa settled and go back to England again. I met a lot of kindness in the club.

"The big stars were behaving very normally. Even if I had moments of doubt, players such as David Silva and Kun Aguero helped me. Although I must also admit that when I first appeared there, I thought, where am I? This stay in Manchester gave me a lot of strength and I learned a lot there”.

Despite his enormous talent, Yaw Yeboah couldn’t break into the first team of Manchester City and had to be sent out on several loan spells. He is currently contracted to Polish giants Wisla Kraków.
