Ghana’s Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif has shared how money received from FIFA as prize money for the Black Stars participation in the 2022 World Cup will be used.
The Black Stars were among the five African countries that featured at the biggest soccer mundial in Qatar last December.
However, Ghana suffered early elimination at the tournament after failing to progress to the Round of 16. The West African powerhouse fell short to Portugal and Uruguay who advanced to the next stage.
Confirming receipt of the World Cup money, Mustapha Ussif expressed that money earned from the tournament will be spent on the Black Stars and infrastructural development.
