St. Pauli star Daniel-Kofi Kyereh to become the new darling boy of Black Stars?

Germany based Daniel-Kofi Kyereh could become the new darling boy of the Black Stars if he manages to take his chances in the World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana in this international break is set to play its first two matches in the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled to be hosted in Qatar.

Pitted in Group G of the African qualifiers, the Black Stars are currently in camp in Cape Coast and eager to start off the qualifiers with a big win against Ethiopia on Friday.

Among the new faces in camp is Daniel Kofi-Kyereh. The forward plays his football in the German Bundesliga 2 and has since 2020 become the star player for FC St. Pauli.

He has come in according to some at the right time to make a claim to write his name in the history book of Ghana football that has a lot of stars.

According to the attacker, he feels proud to be part of the Ghana national team and is eager to help the team.

"I am very proud and honored to be part of the national team," Daniel-Kofi Kyereh said in a post on Instagram.

Unknown to many Ghanaians, the forward has been training well in camp and could wow fans tomorrow in the Ethiopia game.

Should he excel in that game and the South Africa match, the 25-year-old could easily become the new darling boy of the Black Stars.
