Star Madrid offer was too good to reject- former Kotoko Coach Michael Osei

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach Michael Osei has intimated the offer from Division One side Star Madrid was too tempting to reject.

The Coach who terminated his contract with Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals to join the lower tier side.

According to the experienced gaffer, he was inspired by the club's vision and wanted to help the team gain promotion to the top flight league.

''The offer from the club was too tempting to refuse and I also needed a fresh challenge in my coaching career, that is why I terminated my contract with Liberty and joined Star Madrid,'' Osei told Zylofon radio in Accra.

''Our plan is to qualify to the Ghana Premier League next season. Joining Star Madrid is no demotion at all. I bilieve in myself as a coach and also in the Management of the Club, so we should have a smooth division one next season.''

Star Madrid is owned by wealthy business man Nana Kwame Appiah, who owns several other business ventures.
