Staveley to meet Newcastle owner Ashley face-to-face as takeover negotiations continue

Published on: 08 December 2017

Amanda Staveley set to meet with Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley in face-to-face talks over a potential purchase of the Magpies.

Staveley's PCP Capital Partners had tabled a £250million offer last month in an attempt to purchase Newcastle United but Ashley refused to accept the proposal as he values the club at around £400million.

Nonetheless, the talks are still ongoing and now according to the Shields Gazette, Staveley will be holding face-to-face talks with Ashley in order to speed up the process and the latest that the takeover can be completed is in February.
