England-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Callum Hudson-Odoi has shared that he is delighted his decision to stay at Chelsea this season has paid off after winning another trophy with the club.
The talented winger was a transfer target of a number of clubs last summer but decided to stay.
Last weekend, he featured for Chelsea in the club world cup final where the Blues defeated Palmeiras 2-1 to emerge as champions.
Speaking in an interview, Callum Hudson-Odoi stressed that he is very excited about the latest success.
“If I went out in the summer I wouldn’t get opportunities to play like this and enjoy the games and win trophies. So I’m really delighted that I stayed and obviously I got the opportunity to play,” the Black Stars target shared.
He continued, “Big trophies like this are games you want to be involved in with a club like this. Big games, big trophies, you want to win as much as possible with a club like this. Our aim is always to win games and win as many as possible.
“When we get the opportunity we keep pushing.”
