The Coach Of The Month award for October has been assigned to Milan coach Stefano Pioli. The trophy will be presented during the pre-match of Milan vs Inter, scheduled for Sunday 7th November 2021 at 8.45pm at the "Giuseppe Meazza" Stadium in Milan.
The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches.
For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 7th to 11th of Serie A TIM 2021/2022.
“In his third season with the Rossoneri, Stefano Pioli is continuing the excellent work that has brought Milan back to the top of Serie A TIM. A perfect management of the group, a convincing game and the ability to exploit every player in the squad certify the merits of Pioli, who in the month of October obtained five victories in as many matches, occupying the top of the table.” said Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A.
