Stephen Dankwa Badu named man of the match in RTU's goalless draw with Tamale City

Real Tamale United's Stephen Dankwa Badu was named the man of the match in the Tamale derby which was held at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Stephen Dankwa Badu was outstanding for his club during the intense encounter.

In the game yesterday, the host started the game very well and went close to scoring in the fifth minute.

Manaf tried to create a scoring opportunity for his team and was fouled but the referee waved off penalty calls. Manaf again in the 41st minute unleashed a shot that was cleared off the line by the goalkeeper.

After halftime, the host made their first change Frimpong came on to replace Mankuyeli.

A free kick was awarded to Tamale City in the 68th minute but their delivery was cleared out by RTU defenders.

Both sides couldn't find the back of the net after added time. The referee whistled to end Tamale derby.

Real Tamale United is 14th on the league table and Tamale City remains in the danger zone in 17th with 21 points.

Real Tamale United will take on Berekum Chelsea in their next Ghana Premier League game while Tamale City will play Dreams FC.
