The Potters lost 3-0 at the Brit on Saturday.

Hughes acknowledged the jeers from Stoke fans towards the end of today's loss.

"That's understandable," he observed. "Up to 75 minutes when the second goal went in I thought our fans were absolutely magnificent.

"They were driving us on and totally behind us. Like ourselves on the bench, as soon as the second goal went in it takes the wind out of your sails.

"But for the most part, I thought they were good."
