Stoke City are eyeing Switzerland centre-back Silvan Hefti.
Blick says the 19-year-old Swiss under-21s international has quickly been building a stellar reputation since being moved to the middle of defence at St Gallen.
And he has been "increasingly scrutinised" by teams across the continent.
Stoke and Montpellier have been watching Hefti, who is rated at €1 million.
The youngster says: "I can well imagine both; to stay longer at St Gallen or to change to another league – but everything has to be right."
