Stoke striker Berahino rejects transfer talk

Stoke City attacker Saido Berahino has denied claims that he is looking to leave the Bet365 Stadium in January.

Having failed to score a single goal since joining Stoke almost 12 months ago, Berahino has widely been tipped to be leaving the Potters during the upcoming January transfer window but the struggling striker has gone on to reject claims that he is keen on a departure from the Bet365 Stadium.

He said: "A move in January? Hell no. The whole point I came here was to score goals for Stoke and repay them for the faith they have shown in me. I wouldn't want to go on loan, that's nonsense.

"You want to be part of the team and playing every week and if I'm not then of course I'm going to knock on the door and find out what I can do to improve myself and be in the gaffer's team.

"We've had a few chats and he's helped me. I'm getting closer to that start I believe. I've just got to keep working hard."
