Stop blaming Kotoko, Hearts for your incompetence – Emmanuel Dasoberi to Kurt Okraku over low stadium attendance comment

Administrative and Operations Director of Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has taken a swipe at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku over his low stadium attendance comment.

The Ghana Premier League's biggest fixture failed to produce the needed supporters at the Accra Sports Stadium when Hearts of Oak hosted Kotoko on Sunday.

The game also served as the President Cup, where the Phobians defeated the Porcupine Warriors to clinch the title and three points at stake.

Before the clash, organizers had to open free gate for spectators to fill the stands as the initial number was not encouraging.

The Ghana FA boss reacting to the low attendance during the Super Clash urged the two glamorous clubs to do more to win fans back to the stadium.

"The two teams (Kotoko & Hearts) have a lot to do to bring back the fans. It’s up to Kotoko to ask why their fans aren’t consuming their game & same as Hearts of Oak. The fans belong to the clubs and not the GFA but we will do our part" he told Angel TV.

But the administrative manager of Kotoko thinks otherwise, and has therefore entreated Kurt Okraku not to blame Kotoko and Hearts for his incompetence

“People have simple lost confidence in the league. Stop blaming the two teams for your incompetence. Uphold the sanctity and integrity of the league. Make the league highly competitive and attractive and use the $1m well” he tweeted.
