Ghana attacker Kwabena Owusu continued his fine form on Friday afternoon as he scored to help his Qarabağ FK side to draw 2-2 against Sumqayıt FK in the Azerbaijani top-flight league.
The striker has started off the new football season in fine form and continues to impress for his team whenever he is called into action.
In a Matchday 4 fixture of the Azerbaijani Premier League today, Kwabena Owusu earned a starting role for Qarabağ FK when the team visited the Kapital Bank Arena to take on Sumqayıt FK.
The first half of the encounter ended goalless but the home team returned from the break to score two quick goals through Ali Ghorbani and Dzhamaldin Khodzhaniyazov on the 52nd and 54th minute respectively.
In need of a revival, Qarabağ FK found its inspiration in attacker Kwabena Owusu when he scored on the 59th minute to half the deficit.
Gradually, the team pushed and scored the crucial second goal in added time courtesy an equalizer from Filip Ozobić.
Kwabena Owusu, 23, had a good game and now has 2 goals this season.
