Following his first Black Stars call-up over the weekend, striker Evans Etti has scored again to prove why he is one of the best attackers in the country at the moment.
The Accra Lions prolific attacker is one of 32 home-based players who have been handed invites to the camp of the Black Stars by head coach CK Akonnor.
Today, Evans Etti featured for his team when they locked horns with Tema Youth FC in the Division One League. The attacker scored to cancel a strike from Evans Owusu to earn an important draw for Accra Lions.
With today’s goal, the Black Stars forward now has seven goals to his name this season in the Division One League as well as two assists.
Evans Etti is expected to report to the camp of the Black Stars this evening. The team will have a recovery training session today before an intense training session on Tuesday.
If he impresses the Technical handlers of the team, he will have the chance of making the final squad that Ghana will use to play the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against South Africa next month.
