Ghanaian outfit, Inter Allies FC have re-signed former midfielder Gockel Ahortor in a move to have the quality to beat relegation at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.
The capital-based club risk suffering relegation at the end of the ongoing season having struggled in the first round of the campaign.
From the 17 matches the team played, they only managed to amass 12 points and as a result, they are rooted to the bottom of the league table.
Determined to avoid relegation, Inter Allies FC in the last few weeks has signed a number of top players to strengthen their team.
Today, the club has announced that they have secured the services of former poster boy Gockel Ahortor.
“We are pleased to announce that, midfielder Gockel Ahortor has rejoined the club for the rest of the season.
“The free-kick expert is expected to add bite and steel to the team’s midfield with his experience and gamesmanship,” Inter Allies FC announced on Friday.
He returns to the club with a lot of experience and tipped to be integral for the side.
