STUNNER! Ronaldo exit could see Real Madrid dismantle BBC

Cristiano Ronaldo's mooted departure from Real Madrid could lead to the complete elimination of the BBC.

It emerged this week that Ronaldo has rejected a new contract offer from Real president Florentino Perez and demanded he be allowed to leave at the end of this season. Ronaldo is upset by the new figures proposed, which fall well short of the salary of his great rivals Lionel Messi at Barcelona and Neymar of PSG.

Should the Portuguese force his exit, Don Balon says Karim Benzema will soon follow him out the door.

Benzema counts on Ronaldo as his strongest ally inside the locker room and without his support, the Frenchman will seek to move on next summer.

Gareth Bale, meanwhile, has already been put up for sale by Real. Like Ronaldo, the Welshman feels let down by management and is fed up with the barracking he receives from home fans and the lack of support from teammates.

For their part, inside the boardroom Real remain confident Ronaldo's latest threat will prove empty. He only signed new terms 12 months ago and is tied to the club until 2021.

No matter Ronaldo's frustration, he will be quietly reminded he remains under contract and will not be going anywhere next summer.
