Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari recorded his first victory as a player of Italian Serie A strugglers Pescara coming-on as a second half substitute in a 5-0 hammering of Genoa.

Muntari entered the fray in the 72nd minute as a replacement for Valerio Verre with his side already crusising 3-0.

Pescara were leading through an own-goal by Lucas Alfonso Orban in the first and two other strikes by Gianluca Caprari and Ahmad Benali before haltime.

Pescara killed-off the game with late strikes by Caprari and Alberto Cerri in the 81st and 87th minutes.

Muntari joined Pescara on a short-term contract in the January transfer window after leaving Saudi side Al Ittihad last year.
