Sulley Muntari set sights on helping Hearts of Oak close gap on Asante Kotoko in GPL

Sulley Muntari has disclosed how Hearts of Oak can close the gap on Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League after a slow start to the 2021/22 season.

The Phobians ae currently 5th on the league table with 29 points, 12 points behind leaders Kotoko who lead the table with 41 points .

Muntari scored his first goal for Hearts in their 2-1 win over WAFA on match week 19 of the Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“We are to concentrate game by game as we did today,” the former Inter Milan midfielder said.

“Now we have to go home and rest and then think about the next game that is ahead.”

He added, “Kotoko is ahead but we need to look at what we do, not what they do with all due respect to them. They are playing well, they are having a great season, we want to focus on game by game.”

Hearts of Oak will travel to Dormaa to take on former Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars in their next league fixture.
