Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei is backing the club to prevail over Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash on Sunday.

The two most glamourous clubs in the country will lock horns at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

However, both teams have been struggling with form, with the Porcupine Warriors recently losing to Berekum Chelsea whiles Hearts of Oak succumbed to a narrow defeat to Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“Even though neither Kotoko nor Hearts are playing at their peak right now, their rivalry will always be fascinating”

“On the day of the game, everyone will witness how the supporters turn out in large numbers to support their players.  I'll say as a Kotoko supporter that Kotoko is the favorite to win this game”

“Form guides typically have no bearing on games involving both teams. The team that plays with aggression and doesn't hesitate to take risks typically wins. As a former player and Kotoko fan, I hope Kotoko prevails on Sunday”

Asante Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak in the first leg played at the Baba Yara Stadium because of the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium at the time.

The Porcupine Warriors are 10th on the league standings whiles Hearts of Oak 12th position after 30 matches so far this season.
