All is set for Hearts of Oak to host Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium for the President’s Cup.
As has been done every year as part of the country’s Independence Day Celebration, a football match has been scheduled to be played in honour of the sitting President.
This afternoon, the two most successful Ghanaian clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are locking horns in the capital.
The Phobians are welcoming the Porcupine Warriors in a game that will also serve as the Week 20 encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Ahead of kickoff at 16:00gmt, Hearts of Oak’s starting lineup has been confirmed in a post on Twitter.
Goalkeeper Richmond Ayi has been named in post and will be protected by a back four that includes Konadu Yiadom and Dennis Nkrumah.
Linda Mtange is starting in midfield with Benjamin Yorke and Kwadwo Obeng Jnr playing in attack.
