Sarfo Gyamfi, an Asante Kotoko legend, believes Sunday's Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Kotoko will be won in the spirit world.
Kotoko had won three of their previous five matches, while Hearts had won four of their previous five.
Sarfo Gyamfi, on the other hand, feels the greatest game on the Ghana Premier League calender has little to do with performance.
"There is juju in football because Hearts and Kotoko games have nothing to do with form," he said
"Spiritually the more powerful team will win the match,"
"I know that this coming Sunday it will be a tough match,"
He went on to say that players who have no experience with the spiritual aspect of the game will be a problem.
“Players who don’t have spiritual backgrounds will be affected but those that have a background in the spiritual side of the game and have experience with these things will be fine,” he added.
Kotoko will be looking for three points in order to increase their chances of winning their first title since 2014, while Hearts will be looking to break a 12-year trophy drought.
Ghana Football Association stated that tickets for the game between Accra Hearts of Oak SC and Asante Kotoko SC will go on sale on Friday, June 25, 2021 and Saturday, June 26 at selected outlets.
The FA also revealed that there will be no selling of tickets at the stadium gates on Sunday and only persons with ticket will be granted access to go near the stadium by the security personnel to be stationed at the roads leading to the stadium.
