Support us with prayers to beat Benin on Friday – Black Queens goalie appeals to Ghanaians

Black Queens goalkeeper, Cynthia Findiib Konlan has assured Ghanaians that the team will fight to beat Benin on Friday, October 27.

The Ghana women’s senior national team will take on their counterpart from Benin tomorrow in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

This will be the first leg of the tie with the reverse fixture slated for October 31, in Ghana.

Ahead of the encounter tomorrow, Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Findiib Konlan has appealed to Ghanaians to support the team with prayers to get a win.

"I urge and plead with all Ghanaians to support with prayers so we bring the three points home,” the Black Queens goalie said at a pre-match press conference on Thursday.

The first leg of the tie between Ghana and Benin will be played at Stade de l’Amitié – Général Mathieu Kerekou tomorrow.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
