Manchester City fans have been officially ranked as the worst behaved in the Premier League as they top the number of arrests made last season, according toDreamTeamFC.

Clubs like West Ham and Chelsea have been vilified this season for perceived crowd-trouble, but in fact the two London clubs actually rank quite low on the list, boasting 46 and 30 arrests apiece.

It's somewhat surprising that City fans top the list, but what's more shocking is the fact that Arsenal fans are in second-place after 60 fans were arrested by police last season.

Manchester United have lived up to their violent reputation off the field as 57 Red Devils supporters found themselves nicked last season following trouble.

The best behaved club, Norwich City, were unfortunately relegated at the end of last season, but they fared well off the field as only five supporters were arrested.

Watford were a close-second with just six arrests while Bournemouth are third with 16. Despite England banning the consumption of alcohol in the stands 31 years ago, the Home Office report that the most common reason for arrests were public disorder and drunkenness.
