SWAG President Kwabena Yebaoh insists club owners are aware of rot in football

Veteran Sports Journalist and President of the Sports writers Association of Ghana Kwabena Yeaboah has revealed owners of football clubs in Ghana are aware of the bribery and corruption that has bedeviled the game.

The country’s football has been seen a nosedive in terms of play and many have accused the fallen standards to corruption.

The host of Sports Highlight on Ghana Television is a big advocate against bribery and corruption and wants it ended in our game.

"Let one single club owner or administrator tell me there is no bribery and corruption in our football, these are people we engage on daily basis who complain on the quiet but pretend everything is fine." He told Accra base Atinka FM

"Let me also say they are a number of people in sports who pretend to be holier than the Pope." He added.

Kwabena Yeboah is calling for football enthusiast to fight against this canker.
