In the midst of reports that Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is on the brink of leaving Hearst of Oak, information gathered this week indicates that he could be moving to Sweden.

From sources, it is understood that Swedish giants Mamlo FF are in talks with the player over a possible transfer.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in the last three seasons has been one of the best players in the Ghana Premier.

He was part of the Hearts of Oak side that won the treble under coach Samuel Boadu two seasons ago.

Last season, he played a key role to help the Phobians to defend the MTN FA Cup title.

Aware of his quality, officials of Hearts of Oak have been in talks with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and his representatives in an attempt to tie him down to a new deal.

Unfortunately, the efforts of the capital-based club have been unsuccessful.

While his exit looms, it is now understood that his next destination will be in Sweden to play for Malmo FM.
