Swedish Allsvenskan outfit Degerfors IF have completed the signing of American-born Ghanaian defender Joseph-Claude Gyau.
Gyau joins the club on a two-year deal from FC Cincinnati in the USA after successful negotiations.
The 29-year-old is currently in Cincinnati and will arrive in Sweden on Saturday.
He will commence training with his new teammates on Monday, after completing his medical.
The experienced defender is expected to make his debut against IF Elfsborg on March 6.
Gyau has previously featured for TSG Hoffenheim, St. Pauli, Borussia Dortmund II, Sonnenhof Großaspach and MSV Duisburg in Germany.
He returned to the United States in August 2019 to continue in the MLS with Cincinnati.
Gyau has made four appearances for USA, having featured for the youth sides of the United States.
