The reported links of a possible transfer of Asante Kotoko defender Imoro Ibrahim to IFK Gothenburg are just rumours, this is according to a close source at the Swedish club.
The Ghana left-back in the past week has been linked with an imminent move to Sweden to sign for IFK Goteborg after catching the attention of the club on the back of his outstanding displays for the Reds in the Ghana Premier League.
In a bid to confirm the report, Ashh FM’s Akakpo Agodji who is a close source to footballghana.com has made efforts to get more on the interest in the budding defender.
Having contacted one of the officials of the club who wants to stay anonymous at this point, it has been uncovered that the said interest from IFK Gothenburg to sign Ibrahim Imoro are just rumours.
While this does not necessarily end the links of a possible move for Imoro Ibrahim, it is understood that the highly-rated left-back could earn a transfer abroad at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
