Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott is desperate to many Africa Cup of Nations titles to make Ghanaians happy.

Ghana have won the AFCON four times (in 1963, 1965, 1978, and 1982) and has been runner-up five times (in 1968, 1970, 1992, 2010, and 2015)

Black Stars exited the last edition in Cameroon at the group stage failing to win any of their three games, losing 3-2 to Comoros in their final match.

“Every player wants to play at the highest level, possibly, you would want to play in the Champions League, Premier League and you would want to play in Europe and win trophies,” Wollacott told Happy FM.

“So, I think, long-term that is the goals but for now, I just have to focus at where I am and keep working hard. With Ghana, I want to be successful at the World Cup, win AFCONs, bring enjoyment to Ghanaians.”

Meanwhile, Ghana have qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and have been placed in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
