Ghanaian international Asumah Abubakar-Ankra has attracted interest from Swiss Challenge League outfit Grasshopper Club Zurich with the club looking to secure his services this summer.
The 23-year-old has been making airways at his club, SC Kriens this season and is continually making strides in the Switzerland lower division.
The latest information reaching footballghana.com is that Grasshopper Club Zurich has made Asumah Abubakar-Ankra a transfer priority in the upcoming summer transfer window.
They believe the forward will be a good addition for the squad of the team especially with promotion to the Swiss Super League looking very likely with 7 games to end this season.
This season, the winger has made 31 appearances for SC Kriens in the Swiss Challenge League where he has scored a total of 13 goals.
Asumah Abubakar-Ankra previously played for Dutch sides MVV Maastricht and Willem II.
He has steadily developed into a fine player and is eligible to play for Ghana at the senior team level even though he has represented Portugal at the U-19 level.
