He also revealed that mandate for the Normalization Committee has been extented by FIFA ahead of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

The Normalization Committee previous tenure is due to elapse on March 30, having been in office for six months.

"Source close to FIFA confirms the Normalization committee will be given an extension but after the extension, two persons will exit from the committee", he said.

"Lucy Quist and Duah Adonteng will leave and Caf will bring in new members". However, the whole committee should have departed for new people who are well endowed in football to take over".

"Personally the current members should all leave for personalities like Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko, Lawyer Lordy Amoah and Lawyer Charles Asare who follows the game and understand it and can bring the game to normalcy than this try and error ongoing".

The committee who proposed a special competition and had its cancelled following what they believe is an entrenched position by the clubs to frustrate them, having provided fixtures already will have five months added to ensure football in the part of West Africa commences.

Their new mandate is set to elapse on August 31, this year.
