Talent Tavern: Ghanaian youngster Philip Yeboah's assist propelled Hellas Verona to win over Chievo

Ghana youth star, Philip Yeboah was in action for Hellas Verona on Saturday as they hosted their fiercest rivals Chievo Verona in Italy's Primavera championship.

Yeboah was the catalyst for Hellas Verona as they mounted a comeback to secure a 4-3 victory over Chievo Verona. The visitors took a commanding 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes to extinguish earlier hopes of a convincing victory for the home side.

Hellas immediately changed their approach when the second resumed with a bit more intensity, whiles applying pressure in their opponents area to force them into committing mistakes.

Philip managed to dispossessed a Chievo midfielder in the 54th minute to thread the ball to teammate Matteo Cancellieri in the 18-yard box to score a consolation.

Cancellieri's goal restored confidence as Hellas Verona mustered the courage to score two extra goals within 20 minutes to draw level.

In the 90th minute, Philip Yeboah blocked a Chievo defender to allow Fillopo Terracciano to steal the win for Hellas Verona to record a 4-3 win.

Yeboah scored a rating of 6.5 from Primavera website Mondoprimavera.
