The head coach of the Ghana U23 national team, Ibrahim Tanko has beefed up his squad for the upcoming clash against the Algeria U23 team in the qualifiers for the U23 AFCON.
The gaffer has handed late call-ups to talented attackers Ernest Nuamah and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
The two players have been in fine form for their respective clubs this season although their stories have not been the same.
For Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, the teenager has not been a regular for Sporting Lisbon but remains an important player for the side.
Ernest Nuamah on the other hand has been the star for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga.
He was expected to make the Black Stars squad for the next round of the AFCON qualifiers but missed out.
Today, we can confirm that both Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah have been invited to play for the Black Meteors in the final U23 AFCON qualifier against Algeria.
