Owner of former Ghana Premier League side Techiman City insists relegated Accra Great OIympics are right to send the Football Association to court over unfair handling of their case.

Accra Great Olympics placed another injunction on the Ghana Premier Leage after their case was dismissed by an Accra High Court last week.

The Wonder Club feel aggrieved over a ruling against them, after they sent a case against Elmina Sharks over the fielding of an unqualified player.

However, the Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association threw out the case.

Meanwhile, Owner of Techiman City Mickey Charles insists Accra Great Olympics are right to demand clarification over the manner in which the case has been handled.

“I don’t think it was a case that should have gotten to this stage but if you listen to the side of Olympics, they are demanding for the rules clarification, and so the FA has to make it clear to them whether they are right or not but the FA is refusing to do that,” he told Zylofon FM.

“All of a sudden, what we heard is that they are launching the Ghana Premier League, with the league set to start this weekend so for me I believe Olympics are just fighting for their rights,” he concluded.

Accra Great Olympics were relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season.
