Teenager Pierre Dwomoh to play for Genk senior team next season

Belgian teenager of Ghanaian descent, Pierre Dwomoh will have the opportunity of playing for the senior team of KRC Genk after being promoted from the youth team.

The talented central midfielder has displayed glimpses of maturity in the past season and has made an impression on the technical handlers of the club.

On Tuesday, a club statement confirmed that Pierre Dwomoh has been promoted to Genk’s first team.

The attacker joined the Belgian Pro League club in 2016 from the Anderlecht youth side.

The 15-year old looks set for bigger things with Genk and will have pre-season training with the senior team.

His potential is there, but he will need to work hard to ensure he enjoys a successful career. It is understood that European giants such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal, AS Monaco, and Red Bull Salzburg continue to monitor his development as they see him as one to watch for the future.
