Terengganu FC II coach Badrul Afzan Razali has praised Ghananian attacker Jordan Mintah for leading the club's attack this season.
According to Badrul Afzan, the attacking line-up led by international striker Jordan Mintah reached the best display just as the league opponents entered the second round.
He stated that TFC II's performance began to improve on May 20 with a 2-1 win against Johor Darul Ta'zim II, followed by a 5-1 win over Kuching City and Projek FAM-MSN.
“At the beginning of the competition, the TFC II attacking machinery was undeniably quite blunt, especially Mintah who also struggled despite being the top scorer in the Premier League last season," he said.
"We wasted a lot of opportunities causing the team to drop points. However, the players have shown exceptional performances in the last three games,
"Assisted by local pillars from the TFC main squad, the midfield is more prominent to help Mintah who scored two goals against Kuching City and Projek FAM-MSN,"
Mintah, who is also the Terengganu captain, expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance and expressed hope that the Sang Penyu squad will continue in the league's top group.
