Thank you for everything - Trelleborgs FF coach bids farewell to Ghanaian attacker Fatawu Safiu

The head coach for Trelleborgs FF, Salif Camara Jönsson has wished Ghanaian attacker Fatawu Safiu the best after the player completed a transfer to join FC Trollhättan.

The former Asante Kotoko forward sealed a move to the Swedish lower-tier league in 2019 and in the last two seasons established himself as one of the best players in the team.

This summer, Fatawu Safiu has left the club and has signed for fellow Swedish outfit FC Trollhättan.

Speaking on the departure of the player, Trelleborgs FF coach Salif Camara Jönsson has been full of praise for the attacker.

“First and foremost, I want to thank Fatawu for his efforts for Trelleborgs FF.

“He is a strong and tough player on the field who has scored several important goals for us but I am also happy that he gets an opportunity for more playing time in FC Trollhättan which is a top team in division 1. This is a good solution for everyone parties,” coach Camara Jönsson said as quoted on the club's website.

Fatawu Safiu has already started new life FC Trollhättan and is in line to mark his debut this weekend for the team.
