Thank you for helping me reach my potential – Kelvin Osei Assibey bids Eleven Wonders farewell after Hearts of Oak switch

Defender Kelvin Osei Assibey has expressed gratitude after switching from Techiman Eleven Wonders to Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak.

The 22-year-old highly-rated defender sealed a move to join the Phobians following an impressive performance in the Division One League last season.

He scored two goals and supplied seven assists in 25 matches, winning six Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, including a notable showing in the Division One Zone One playoff against Bofoakwa Tano.

“When I thought I couldn’t reach my goals, you always supported me and kept me going. I want to thank you for helping me reach my potential” a statement from the player reads as he bids farewell to the Techiman-based club.

Osei Asibey is expected to improve the defence of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League champions following their abysmal defensive show in the just-ended season.
